about

Bloody Hands is about people staying in toxic relationships, holding onto what's not good for them. If you're not happy, leave. It's hard, but it's better to be selfish than to be spinning in circles with the thought of hurting your partners feelings. The two of you may have not been right for each other, one of you may be going through issues that the other can't resolve. There are so many variables, but the most important thing is your mental and even physical health. If you are constantly around someone, dedicating so much of your time and energy towards this person who is continually bringing you down, or even worse, abusive, it's okay to walk away.

lyrics

VERSE 1:
Twenty Thirteen, best time of my life/
I let a demon grow inside me, I should've grabbed a knife/
I thought I could fight it without making a cut/
I learned what happens when you let a plague sit in your gut/4
Drained like a rat squeezed by a boa/
someone get me the hell out of these restraints/
sometimes the prettiest things/
are the deadliest snakes/
and yet we still get close to the fangs/8
If god exist, and he does all wonderful/
things you say he does and did he's a piece of shit
created love in a form torture/
and wrapped to look like a holiday gift/12
If god is testing me while I go through all the/
whip cracks at my back I feel like a fucking lab rat/
getting poked and laughed at with a scalpel held by a/
mad man holding hands with Charles Manson/16
it’s a song about woman that, showed, me, Hell/
On my downtime, I wrote it on my visit there/
on the back of a postcard all in brail/
both of us blind, trying to force a love fairy tale/20
I guess, I thought I could take you into care/
I saw an angel, not the horns behind the hair/
I should’ve left you alone why do I care/
It's obvious some minds are far beyond repair/24
She must've sucked cupid dick and payed out of pocket/ played with my mind made her look like a goddess/
I should've took it as a sign when you fucked my friend/
I'm just dumb as shit, Don’t to blame the wench/28

CHORUS:
Last night I met the Devil/
I couldn't get her name out of my head/
It looked so wrong but felt so right/
So we danced, with bloody hands all night

VERSE 2:
You can only hold so many tricks up your sleeve/
Until they actually bleed and your bluff is perceived/
I’m the one that she needs, there’s no way I can leave/
I’m the stable one with a brain strapped in a seat/ 4
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with me/
I have no jealousy not even envy/
I’m as perfect as I can be, even the blind can see/
the perfect in me, who the fuck am I kidding/ 8
shit, I’m always in your phone when you turn away/
what the fuck is this name, who the fuck is this Dave/
What’s this picture of his face and the likes on your page/
okay, maybe I’m a little crazy in the cage/ 12
But, why do you stay, am I really that great/
You don’t treat me that way and I don’t treat you the same/-
Is comfort the thing, we can’t get this chaos away/
We revolve around it like the sun as if it was fate/16
and let me tell you, it ain’t a beautiful thing/
we should break off this orbit and float the fuck away/
We’re acting deranged like we’re lost in a maze/
We should be wild horses running through planes/18-
But yet you’re all up in my face with a knife at your wrist/
I don’t know what I did or how it got to this/
I had a friend that took his own life and you know this/
and yet you’re using it, trying to hustle all of my emotions/22
A con artist will always try to manipulate/-
It’s okay, I do same, I just don’t threaten veins/
Don't know how I slept by her side that night/
That should've been a sign, Why do I stay in the fight/24

CHORUS:
Last night I met the Devil/
I couldn't get her name out of my head/
It looked so wrong but felt so right/
So we danced, with bloody hands all night

VERSE 3:
I could write a whole book about my biggest mistake/
But I put in a song to save you people some pain
I wouldn't want them hating you the way I do/
I wish the story's I talked about were far from the truth/4
I crumpled up two years and threw um’ away/
while I'm chewing on regret people ask how it tastes/
the lessons were great, but time is to expensive to waste/
And I’m willing to bet, you tell your friends the same thing /8
I didn’t make a song just to shit on an ex/
It’s a song about circle holes and square pegs/
Would you put a key in a socket and do it again/
If you fell in a cesspool would you dig a trench/
I made a song in hopes to give hope to the blind/
leaving someone to better yourself is completley fine/
Be complete with yourself before you search for love/
Or you’ll fill with resentment and love no one/12
Last night, I broke up with my girlfriend/
There was a silence when I braced for a whirlwind/
it was the most civil talk we've ever had/
We didn't fight like animals, no blood on our hands/20
Last night I broke it off with my lover/
There was a reason to end the suffer/
it was the most civilized talk we've ever had/
We didn't fight like animals, no blood on our hands/24

CHORUS:
Last night I met the Devil/
I couldn't get her name out of my head/
It looked so wrong but felt so right/
So we danced, with bloody hands all night
